ECU remapping

The remapping of virtually all types of ECU's

We've acquired a lot of knowledge in the area of tuning and optimization Moto Guzzi motorcycles. Where it used to be about swapping jets and needles in the carbs, it's all about electronics and computers now.

Nowadays, we have got over the most recent softwarepackages and tools at our disposal not only to finetune motorcycles, but also to completely change the ECU and the software it is running on. We can reflash almost all ECU's and upload in-house generated mappings: changing ignition timing, temperature corrections, enrichments and bypassing Lambda-steering are a couple of the possibilities.

Currently, we've got a lot of satisfied customers on the road, for whom we improved the following points:

- Detonation in exhaust
- Rough running on cold start
- On/off effect in lower RPM
- Hunting throttle response/RPM

Geert Janssen, Stelvio rider, wrote us:

"... It might have got something to do with my style of riding, but it seems like all new motorcycles (despite brand) suffer from the on/off effect in lower RPM. This is most noticeable in city traffic between 3500 and 4000 RPM.

Herman (mechanic @ TLM) has delivered another masterpiece of programming. The engine responds more direct on the throttle and runs a lot smoother without any hickups right up to the red RPM zone. Fuel consumption is satisfactory as well; I haven't noticed an increase so far. Power hasn't increased much either, but there's plenty anyway in my opinion...

The increment in riding pleasure is what tremapping the ECU gave me and I can recommend it to everyone who is experiencing the on/off behaviour... "
