Germany's largest motorcycle fair in Cologne, the Intermot.
Once every two years Germany is chosen as a platform to present motorcycle novelties. At the current edition of Germany's largest motorcycle fair in Cologne, the Intermot, Moto Guzzi shows the public the Moto Guzzi 1200 Sport 4V and the Stelvio 1200 4V ABS according to the latest technology.
Moto Guzzi 1200 Sport 4V
Since the 8 valve engine has proven itself in the Griso and Stelvio the time was found right in Mandello to introduce this engine to the 1200 Sport to make it a true sport machine; the 4 valve engine has been replaced with the 8 valve engine! 105 PS at 7.500 revs and 110 Nm at 6.500 revs. Those are numbers you can come home with, or even beter go into the mountains with. To celebrate this new edition, the italian flag has been subtlely placed on several locations on the bike. The 1200 Sport 4V will become available in 2009 in titanium silver or radiant black.
Moto Guzzi Stelvio 1200 4V ABS
We've been waiting for it since the introduction, but Moto Guzzi has finally introduced the ABS version of the Stelvio 1200 4V. The anti blocking system has been developed by Bosch and operates front and rear seperately from eachother. Besides the braking system, Moto Guzzi has attached a robust side case set, which makes you eager to travel the world. Prices and availability will be made public shortly.
